Artist's Description:
This artwork was inspired by a modern interpretation of a Sephardic sefer torah scroll. Imagery of Jerusalem is housed within "panels" and the outer borders are papercut. The gates in the lower half of the piece are inspired from the actual ironwork which is characteristic of many Jerusalem neighborhoods.
